A2 prerequisite German skill level.

We'll be reading books in simple German, listen to song texts and do some grammar Exercises. Being able to speak a bit independently is useful. Most participants have gone all the way through the Duolingo tree a while ago (we started with that but got bored).

This is an ongoing class - we never stop so you can jump on before the semester officially starts. Currently, we're working with "LiES. Das Buch: Literatur in Einfacher Sprache. Geschichten von Alissa Walser, Anna Kim, Arno Geiger, Henning Ahrens, Jens Mühling, Judith Hermann, Julia ... und Ulrike Almut Sandig (German Edition)" that is available on Amazon in several countries (and probably at other nice platforms). Students are encouraged to buy it - but if in doubt, contact me first as we might have moved on (it's still worth buying - it's fun short stories).
